Huawei today made its new smartwatch, the Watch 2, available from various online retailers for $300. The device runs Android Wear 2.0 from Google and includes GPS, a heart rate monitor, NFC, 420 mAh battery, and a 1.2-inch AMOLED display.

Samsung today announced two new fitness-themed wearables. The Gear Fit2 is a second-generation, wrist-worn activity tracker with GPS and heart rate monitor. Like the original, the Fit2 has a curved, Super AMOLED touchscreen that can be used to track activity as well as check notifications.
At CES 2013, Samsung had a number of curved AMOLED displays available for the world to see. Tablets, monitors, and phones are all obvious applications for such displays, but there is so much more that this tech has to offer.
LG showed off their newest project at the FPD-International 2009 show in Japan recently, a 15-inch transparent display. Are we seeing the future of TV and computer monitors? Who knows, but it's interesting to see nonetheless. Of course, it's still a prototype, and we have no idea when we'll see it in retail, how much it will cost, or anything specific.
